The prisoner of war cemetery in Zalka I was restored in 2000. Around 90 prisoners of war are buried here. The site is 975 square meters in size and is surrounded by metal posts with two metal pipes. The graves are marked by groups of symbolic crosses. The central memorial is a 4.5 m high metal cross. Here is also the memorial message: HERE REST WAR SURVIVORS, VICTIMS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR
