Total Occupation: 104 fatalities

The remains of 102 German victims of the First World War who died between September 26, 1914 and November 29, 1921 are buried here under a lawn. The site was laid out according to plan. It is characterized by uniformly designed grave markers. In December 1917, the site was surrounded by an evergreen hedge, separating it from the rest of the cemetery. in 1963, Gerhard Lichtenfeld and Martin Wetzel designed a memorial for the periods of the Weimar Republic, National Socialism and the reconstruction period after 1945 in the "Park of the Victims of Fascism". Large concrete blocks with inscriptions on the front and metal reliefs on the sides are surmounted by a larger-than-life group of figures entitled "Mother and Child". The block dedicated to National Socialism bears the names of eleven Nazi opponents who lost their lives. There are also victims of the Second World War in the cemetery. Information on this will be added shortly. Source: S. Endlich and N. Goldenbogen, Memorials to the Victims of National Socialism, Volume II.
