Grodno

The prisoner of war cemetery in Grodno was restored in 2000. Around 200 prisoners of war are buried here. The site is 5,580 square meters in size and is surrounded by a stone wall. The graves are marked by groups of symbolic crosses. The central memorial is a 4.5 m high metal cross. Here is also the commemorative message: HERE REST WAR SURVIVORS, VICTIMS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR
