According to the information available to us, a total of 70 dead from the Second World War and the National Socialist tyranny rest on the very well-kept war cemetery in the front part of the Waldfriedhof. In detail: - 49 German soldiers - 3 forced laborers from the former Soviet Union - 1 German civilian citizen, - 17 Hungarian soldiers who died as a result of accidents and illness, during air raids on the Faßberg airbase and during the fighting around the airbase on April 15/16, 1945, or who later died of their wounds.
