Bad Bergzabern

Victims of the Second World War who died in the hard-fought southern Palatinate border region rest on this war cemetery. The War Graves Commission set up this military cemetery behind the municipal cemetery of the Kneipp spa town of Bergzabern. The cemetery is located on a slightly ascending slope. Fruit trees blossom along its edges in spring and the church towers of the old town still peek out of the wide valley. The granite cross dominates the slope.
