in 1998, the prisoner of war cemetery was redesigned. 3,873 prisoners of war were buried here in comrades' graves. The cemetery is approximately 500 square meters in size and is surrounded by basalt curbs. The graves are marked by groups of symbolic crosses. The central memorial is a 3.5-metre high granite stone cross with the following commemorative message: RESTING PLACE OF GERMAN COMBATANTS 1941 - 1945
