According to the information available to us, a total of 39 dead from the Second World War and 3 soldiers from the First World War rest in this cemetery in 2 grave fields surrounded by hedges in the middle front section near the cemetery nursery and in the middle rear section of the cemetery. The dead are German soldiers, 2 Wehrmacht helpers and some civilians who lost their lives in Bentheim military hospitals, in air raids in 1944 and in the first days of April 1945 during the final battles or shortly afterwards.
